Oregon Clean Fuels Program
Clean Fuel Standards
Oregon CFP Scenario Simulator v1.0
Monday, 3rd February 2025
The Oregon CFP demand/supply model is designed to model the fuel consumption pattern into the future while meeting the program's environmental objectives. By employing a credit/deficit demand-supply framework, the model evaluates the usage of various fuel types and generates projections for credit, deficit, and bank. The model considers economic and technical factors, such as vehicle sales, retirement, and usage across different classes. Through meticulous analysis, the model provides insights into fuel demand trends, aiding in the decision making for various stakeholders in the clean fuel value chain. This version of the model accounts for the updated Diesel and Gasoline benchmark values that were adopted in January 2025 by the Oregon DEQ. Click here for the Explainer!
